My friend and I took a 6 day 5 night private tour with a very knowledgeable and experienced driver (Khalid). He had water ready for us on time. We started our journey with lots of stops along the way for photos. Khalid knew all the great spots for photos. He took great photos of my friend and I and even taught us how to pose. How great is that!?! Khalid was patient, very knowledgeable about local traditions, religion, Berber history, and spoke multiple languages including English. He stopped every few hours to make sure we could get out and stretch our legs walk, he got us water, and waited for us while we took photos. He took us everywhere as we headed to the Sahara Merzouga. We had lunch at the clean and quaint Restaurant a delicious traditional meal and visited the Kasbah; more great photos and knowledge sharing. We compared what we saw to our experiences in the US. These were great conversations we had on our road trip.
